Welcome to my portfolio
I am a Freelance Marketer and Producer who also has vast experience as a writer.
I work with teams, individual creatives and businesses across London and the South West to help elevate their vision and aid in the successful production of their creative projects.
I am also the founder of Cold Islanders, a network for people of Caribbean heritage in the UK to learn and connect together.
CHECK OUT MY WORK
CULTURAL PRODUCER
Working within the field of arts and culture, I help organise and run cultural events both digitally and physically, from festival seasons to monthly or stand-alone events. This often includes the budgeting, marketing, communication and support for artists and technicians. Furthermore I also act as host for many of these events, from running books clubs and spoken word events to film nights and panel talks with artists.

MARKETER
My marketing experience ranges from in-house content for companies such as Primark to assisting small not-for-profit, NPO's and individual artists to better tell their internal and external stories. A priority of mine is to work alongside people who feel a sense of joy and purpose about their stories, focusing on work that betters their communities. Some of the areas of work I work within include Theatre and Contemporary Music, alongside global majority focused projects and organisations.
Check out what I've been working on recently!
You can find a few highlights from the past few months below ⇩
Beyond Face
Over at Beyond Face, we have just launched our 'Regional Voices' strand of work with funding from Paul Hamlyn Foundation. This area of work will offer more opportunities for Global Majority people to engage with our work. Particularly for those who have currently little to no engagement with the arts. Regional Voices will be offering space for people to regularly meet with other people to connect and share stories as well as offering space for artists to connect and have support around their wellbeing and confidence within the arts and culture sector.
Cold Islanders
I kicked off 2024 with an intention setting dinner for Caribbean women at No.63 Dalston. Next up for Cold Islanders is a trio of Caribbean film nights. Head to the instagram to stay posted.
CoMA (Contemporary Music for All)
CoMA is currently in the midst our our biennial contemporary music festival taking place across the UK and Europe throughout the month of March.

Words of Colour recently held Conversations with Baldwin, a new hybrid arts festival exploring the legacy, impact, and activism of acclaimed 20th century author and civil rights advocate James Baldwin. This occurred throughout September-October 2023 in London, Bristol and online.
